Q.12.I am a Pakistani national holding a Pakistan passport applying for Indian Visa, how do I obtain sponsorship certificate?

A Complete Sponsor Certificate Form is required for all Pakistani nationals holding a Pakistani passport. The sponsor must be an Indian citizen living in India.
Do not go directly to the Government of India website to fill the online application as you would be required to fill in particulars of the Official signing the Sponsorship certificate form as a mandatory requirement for completing your application.
You will have to obtain Sponsor Certificate Form before applying for Indian Visa on the CKGS website. You will be guided to the Government of India website to fill your online form/s at the appropriate step via the CKGS website.
The CKGS website has been customized so that the Sponsor Certificate Form is available on widget.
Please follow the below procedure to obtain sponsor certificate form from CKGS website: Download the form provided on the link Sponsorship Certificate form
- Print and Fill the form carefully
- Sign the form where indicated
- The Sponsorship certificate form should be attested by DM/SP/SDM/Tehsildar/BDO/SHO/Group – ‘A’ officers of the Central and State Government / Principal of Government college / Principal or Headmaster of Government school
- Self-attested copy of the photo ID of the concerned issuing officer is also required to be obtained
- Indian Sponsor of the Pakistan national must submit the attested copy of Sponsorship Certificate form to the FRRO office in India.
Please Note:
Kindly keep your sponsorship certificate details handy. After filling the Sponsorship Certificate form, you need to start with your visa application once again from the start.
